During meetings with representatives of the International Cooperation Office of the Capital City of Warsaw and with Aleksander Ferens, Mayor of the Warsaw-Śródmieście District, the President of the Foundation, Radosław Tyszkiewicz, presented the activities of the Poland-Japan Foundation and emphasized the importance of cooperation between Warsaw and its Japanese partner city Hamamatsu, as well as between the Warsaw-Śródmieście district and Tokyo’s Meguro district. The Foundation’s initiatives and projects to date were discussed, and possibilities for establishing cooperation and implementing joint projects strengthening Polish-Japanese relations were considered. On September 18, Warsaw Day will take place at Expo Osaka, featuring three symbolic events: “Breakfast with Marie Skłodowska-Curie,” “Royal Afternoon Tea,” and “Dinner with Frédéric Chopin” – combining culinary experiences with figures defining Warsaw’s identity.
