Radosław Tyszkiewicz, President of the Poland-Japan Foundation, met with Marieta Arabadjiev, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Japan. The discussions focused on the exchange of experiences and opportunities for cooperation in the implementation of joint projects, including in the context of Bulgaria’s accession to the eurozone and adoption of the common European currency in 2026. The meeting was also attended by Lidia Vitanova, Representative Director of the newly established KyoLink organization. The Bulgarian initiative KyoLink is a pioneering non-profit organization whose objective is to support academic, cultural, business, and investment cooperation between Asia and Europe, with strategic emphasis on Bulgaria and Japan. The Poland-Japan Foundation expressed interest in cooperation with the KyoLink organization and welcomed the establishment of a new European initiative aimed at further strengthening relations with Japan.
