Four extraordinary days of the Japanese Art Festival in Piotrków Trybunalski are now behind us — filled with inspiring meetings, discovering the traditions and contemporary culture of Japan, and experiencing art together in its many forms.
Lectures, workshops, film screenings, and exhibitions allowed participants to look at Japan from different perspectives — from history and aesthetics, through the tea ceremony and cinema, to everyday life, art, and modern cultural phenomena. Each event was an opportunity for conversations, exchanging experiences, and building bridges between cultures.
We are incredibly happy that the Poland–Japan Foundation could organize the very first edition of such a festival in Piotrków Trybunalski. For us, this is an important step and proof that interest in Japanese culture continues to grow, and that shared cultural initiatives can bring together people with different passions and interests.
We hope this was the beginning of a beautiful tradition and that we will meet again during future editions of the Japanese Art Festival.
See you again!
