The comic draws inspiration from the Japanese aesthetic of mono no aware (\n\u7269\u306e\u54c0\u308c) \u2014 a sensitivity to the transience of life and the beauty of fleeting moments.\nOne of its key characters will be Andrzej Wajda, whose fascination with Japan\ncontributed, among other things, to the creation of Manggha \u2013 Museum of Japanese Art\nand Technology in Krak\u00f3w.
