On July 6th, a meeting took place between the President of the Foundation, Radosław Tyszkiewicz, and representatives of the Sugihara House Museum in Kaunas – Mr. Saulius Garbaravičius and Ms. Jurgita Garbaravičienė. The discussions focused on potential cooperation and the possibility of implementing joint educational and cultural projects aimed at promoting the values of humanism, civil courage, and intercultural dialogue. The Sugihara House is a private museum established in 1999 in Kaunas, located in the building where Japanese diplomat Chiune Sugihara worked during World War II. It was from this very place that he issued the so-called "Visas for Life," saving thousands of Jews, including many from Poland, fleeing the Holocaust. Although the museum faced serious financial difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic, it now continues its mission successfully—spreading Sugihara's message of courage, empathy, and goodwill toward others.

The Polish-Japanese Foundation (FPJ) works for cooperation and development of mutual relations between entities and residents from both countries.
