The first premiere screening of the film “Far Away to Japan: The Untold Stories of the Polish People” took place in Tokyo at the EuroLive cinema at Shibuya. The movie theater was full and 180 people watched the film! Among the distinguished guests, we welcomed representatives of the diplomatic corps, the academic world, business, media and friends of Poland in Japan, as well as people who co-created and helped in the creation of the film. The realization of the movie project lasted three years. It took place in different parts of Japan with wonderful people who decided to join us in this creative endeavor. During the screening, we collected donations for the victims of the earthquake in the Noto Peninsula. The Fukudenkai organization collected funds to support Ukraine.
The Polish-Japanese Foundation (FPJ) works for cooperation and development of mutual relations between entities and residents from both countries.
