The Poland-Japan Foundation is pleased to present a new paper: “How Kaizen and Monozukuri Synergize with Automation and Innovation in the EU and Poland” by Mateusz Piesiak. The paper examines how Japanese manufacturing philosophies of kaizen and monozukuri can support Poland’s rapidly developing industrial sector. Drawing on examples from Toyota and European industry, it argues that successful digital transformation and Industry 4.0 implementation should be built on standardized, continuously improved processes, highlighting Poland’s strong potential to enhance its competitiveness through the adoption of these proven principles.
