The premiere screening of the documentary film “Poles in Japan: Life, Passion, Success” took place at the EuroLive cinema in Tokyo’s Shibuya district. The event brought together numerous guests, including representatives of the Polish community, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tokyo, the diplomatic corps, the business world, the media, friends of Poland in Japan, as well as visitors from Poland. The film’s production lasted a year and covered various regions of Japan. The documentary presents the contemporary Polish community in the Land of the Rising Sun – its passions, achievements, and contributions to the development of Polish-Japanese relations. It also highlights the history and present-day life of Polish communities in Hokkaido and the Kansai region, which actively participate in local life while preserving their unique cultural heritage. The production continues the 2024 project “Far Away to Japan: The Untold Stories of the Polish People”
