In Kraków, a meeting was held between the President of the Poland–Japan Foundation, Radosław Tyszkiewicz, and Professor Krzysztof Ingarden – Honorary Consul of Japan in Kraków, distinguished architect, and laureate of numerous awards. The discussion focused on strengthening Polish–Japanese cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and architecture. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and to discuss future initiatives aimed at developing Polish–Japanese relations. Professor Ingarden has been connected with Japan for many years – he completed a research internship at the University of Tsukuba, worked in Arata Isozaki’s office in Tokyo, and in his architectural work often engages in dialogue with Japanese culture. He is the co-author, among others, of the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków, as well as the embassies of Poland in Tokyo and Japan in Warsaw. For his achievements, he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, a high distinction of the Japanese government.

The Polish-Japanese Foundation (FPJ) works for cooperation and development of mutual relations between entities and residents from both countries.
