“Mono no aware” – A Polish-Japanese Comic Is Coming Soon

Introducing the cover of our new comic: “Mono no aware”! We are delighted to present the cover of this upcoming Polish-Japanese comic production, created with the participation of the Poland-Japan Foundation and Timof Comics. The comic draws inspiration from the Japanese aesthetic of mono no aware ( 物の哀れ) — a sensitivity to the transience of life and the beauty of fleeting moments. One of its key characters will be Andrzej Wajda, whose fascination with Japan contributed, among other things, to the creation of Manggha – Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków. The comic will be released soon!
